Notes

Updated July 22nd

Set Time: All set times and lengths are approximate and subject to change. If you tell all your fans to come watch you at 2PM and a band drops out at the last minute you might end up playing at 1:30PM. We will not be leaving gaps in the music if bands drop out at the last minute - we will fill the time by giving later bands the option playing slightly longer sets, but that doesn't mean you get to add all that extra time to your set (see below about set length). Please keep this in mind. Better to tell your fans to come watch the show for a few hours and enjoy 6 or 7 of the bands playing around you. Please do not come to us complaining that all your fans are coming at such-and-such a time if you end up playing at a different time and now they won't see you. We will try not to change times if possible, but things happen. Also, if you have some important constraint about when you cannot play let us know right now. But please don't come ask because you want don't / do want to play first / last / middle / 2PM, etc. We will do our best to make reasonable accommodations for everyone, but someone has to play early / late.

Updated July 22nd

Set Length: We will cut you off if you go over your set length. We need to keep things reasonably on schedule. Actually we wil remind you to finish up and if you ignore us we will then cut you off. You might want to have one of your roadies keeping track of your time while you're playing. If there is any doubt about when you should finish please ask one of the crew.

Friday July 25th

Friday evening the concert starts at 5PM and runs until 9:30PM. Load in for all bands will be before 4:30 PM except for the first acts who will be arriving at 3:30PM. We will sound check opening acts at 4PM. For all other bands if you arrive close to 4PM you will be able to drive close to the stage to unload your equipment. If you plan on arriving after 4:30 (and you should tell us if this is the case) you will have to carry your gear the 300ft. from the parking lot to the holding area behind the Station Stage.

Saturday July 26th

On Saturday the concert starts at 11:30 and runs until 8:30PM. We have broken the day into sections and assigned load in times for each group of bands which are listed above. All bands can load in between 10 and 10:30 AM if they want. The times that are listed above are the latest we expect all the bands in the group to arrive for loading in. Important: If you are going to be arriving after this time you must contact us to let us know. If you do not you might be asked to move or forfeit your set time. All bands can load in between 10 and 10:30 AM if they want. We will have donuts and drinks around 11:00 AM for bands that load in early.

Your options for load in on Saturday:

1) If you show up before 10:30AM you can drive right up to the area where we will be storing equipment for the stage 1 and 2 and drop your stuff off. There will be GRF staff there to help you unload.

2) If you show up after 10:30AM you can unload yourself in the parking lot next to the venue. If you're on stage 2 it is only about 75ft from the vehicle / band entrance. If you're on stage 1 you will need to carry your equipment about 250ft. around the edge of the crowd area to the storage area behind the stage.

3) There is also a back entrance to the Energy Park (see map), but there is decent flight of stairs that must be used. The advantage of this option is that you don't have to carry your equipment thru the crowd - it's about the same distance from the station stage as the front entrance. Again, if you show up after 10:30AM you will be on your own for unloading.

About Set Lengths

Set lengths are around 20 - 30 minutes for all bands. Because we have two stages we will be tearing down and setting up while the other stage is going. We are going to need to be strict about set times because we cannot run over our finishing time due to park rules and town ordinances. If you are close to running over your set time we will tell you. Please DO NOT tear down your amps or drums on stage. Move them off the stage first so we can get the next band on quickly, just like the band before you did for you. Also, please encourage your fans to go to your merch table and NOT come on the stage to talk right after your set as this slows things down. Thanks for your understanding and support.

Parking

There is limited parking right next to the venue, but lots of parking fairly close. After you're done unloading you will need move your vehicle and park in one of the lots nearby especially if you have trailer. Please don't park in any no-parking areas as you probably will be towed. This map shows the parking areas nearby. The lot across main street behind Wilson's Department Store has many spaces and is the best bet for trailers unless you get lucky and find two parallel spaces on the street.
